        The "Überflüssigen" visit Kaiser's

On September 23, 2009, some of the "Überflüssigen" (redundant) visited the supermarket Kaiser's in Berlin in order to draw the attention of other redundants there to the case of Emmely and demand just working conditions for everyone.

The cashier Emmely was sacked by Kaiser's because she had allegedly embezzled shop-coupons for 1.30 Euros. She has worked at the supermarket for 31 years. In reality, Kaiser's wants to get rid of Emmely because she was actively involved in the strike of the union ver.di in 2007 and 2008.

Emmely denies the accusations but lost in the first court because of a reactionary judge. One day after the action the verdict of the appeal court was expected. If Emmely loses she wants to still continue fighting.
