Discover what we do

Labournet TV promotes struggles in the workplace and political education through film and video. With our film production, screenings, workshops and direct support for struggling workforces, we aim to help make strikes and exemplary workers' struggles visible and to advance strategic discussions.

Film screening and debates

We regularly organise film screenings and invite protagonists to attend. Mostly in Berlin. After the film, we discuss it together. If you organise a screening and invite us to attend, we would be happy to come to your city. Just get in touch.

Cinéma Klassenkampf

In our series ‘Cinéma Klassenkampf’ we show current strike videos. We invite the workers on strike to report first hand on what is going on at their workplaces. They talk about their demands, the dynamics of the strike and how those present can support them. In this way, we establish direct links and enable practical solidarity. The discussion is also an opportunity for the active colleagues themselves to reflect on their struggle together.

How to make strike videos?

With the Labournet TV Academy, we want to pass on the practical experience we have gained working for Labournet TV. We offer free workshops for activists who want to learn how to support struggling workers with videos. We talk about research, camera work, interview techniques, sound and editing, legal issues, post-production. But we also discuss the political significance of strike videos, who should and should not be given a voice, and how to get in touch with strikers. Get in touch if you're interested in the workshops

Support for striking workers

We support workers' struggles with videos. We document your actions to make your demands heard, or so that you can use the videos to discuss the strike with your colleagues. With the videos, we want to circulate accurate and correct information about the strike to improve the general reporting: with information coming directly from the workers. This way, we enable activists and interested parties to show their solidarity and support your strike in a practical way. Get in touch if you need support
