An important film for the "Nuit Debout" movement. Director François Ruffin makes for the deindustrialized part of Northern France. His initially gullible opinions, spread by the mainstream media, meet the tough reality: the closure of whole factories by the luxury goods company LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton impersonated by its boss Bernard Arnault, and the resulting unemployment and impoverishment impersonated by the Klur family.

"He [Arnault] has maybe lied to you a bit... -- A lot. A lot, a lot, a lot. -- But he hasn't hurt anyone. -- Wait. That depends: If it 'doesn't hurt anyone' if you engulf people in misery and if you drive people into suicide then I agree with you." (from the film)

Finally, Ruffin helps the textile workers family in their struggle with unemployment and tries to get Arnault's attention: by all means. So Ruffin is kicked out of the shareholder assembly where he appeared with a "I love Bernard" T-shirt.

Director Ruffin emphasizes that the film is not just about LVMH and Arnault but has to be understood in a general "anti-oligarchical sense." The film was shown open air at the "Nuit Debout" in Paris and fuels the current protests against the labor law reforms in France.

According to the filmmakers' own statements, this satirical documentary film has not received any official film subsidies but was realized through crowdfunding. labournet.tv shows a nine-minute part of the film.
