        Made in Dagenham

"Dagenham, an English automobile town at the end of the 60s: Rita O’Grady  and186 other women work as sewing machinists in a Ford factory. Working conditions are far from comfortable, but the women know how to struggle through their hard graft. But when the management decides to classify them as unskilled workers, Rita and her colleagues finally revolt. Rita, together with unionist Albert  organises the first women's strike in British history." (Movie Pilot)

In the long run, this strike led to the 1970 Equal Pay Act.
