As equals (D'égal à égales)

Film about four female unionists in France. All four are migrants or children of migrant parents. As activist in a male-dominated milieu they have to gain acceptance and use allegedly male forms of behaviour.

They are working in different sectors – as a textile worker, nanny, railway worker and cleaning worker in a hotel –, and they talk about their personal and collective processes of emancipation that were triggered by their engagement in the midst of a racist and sexist class society.
