On August 28, 2018, 30 people came to the Cghinese Embassy in Berlin to ask for the release of 14 arrested workers of Jasic factory in Shenzhen and their supporters who are still in detention.  Solidarity messages from workers of Daimler dfactory in Sindelfingen, Germany,  and VW in Hannover were read.

In this video protestors outside the Jasic machinery factory in Shenzhen are demanding to be reinstated, after seven workers were fired for trying to form a union. Protests carried on throughout July, and on 27th July, 29 workers, family members and supporters were violently arrested by police and detained.
